Tim Burton's biography

His name is Timothy William Burton and he's an American film director, producer,
writer and artist. He's famed for his dark and quirky films like Sweeny Todd and Nightmare Before Christmas.

He was born on August 25th , 1958 in Burkbank, California. After high school, Burton
attended the California Institute of Arts. He liked painting, drawing movies and monsters. In 1979, he drafted to join the Dysney animation ranks.

He was married to a German artist for four years, but he left her for Lisa
Marie, a very pretty model. Then hemarried Helena Bonham Carter
and they now have a son, called Billy Ray Burton, born on October 4th, 2003, and a daughter, Nell Burton, born on December 15th, 2007.

He was a winner of the following awards.:
1992: Award for Best Foreign Film, Edward Scissorhands.
2006: Award for Best Featured film, Corpse Bride
2007: Award for Best Director, Sweeney Tood: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

·Beetlejuice: Burton received his next big project in 1988
·Batman: Burton's ability to produce hits with low budgets impressed studio executives and he received his first big budget for the film Batman (1989).
·Edward Scissorhands:1990. Interpreted by Johnny Deep, the juvenile idol of this decade.
·The Nightmare before Christmas: 1993.
·Ed Wood: 1994

·Sleepy hollow:1999 with Johnny Deep's intervention.
·Planet of the Apes: 2001.
·Big fish: 2003. The film received four nominations to the Golden globes.

·Sweeney Tood: The demon barber of Fleet street: 2005.
·Alice in Wonderland:  will have the premiere in March, 2010.
